Manchester Health Academy have recently undertaken a sports block and classroom refurbishment comprising of newly fitted out changing facilities.
The Simply Group worked alongside the Main Contractor responsible for carrying out the refurbishment works to Manchester Health Academy’s sports block – a local project within our community. The core objective was to manufacture and install a high-end finish, making the newly refurbished changing rooms fit for purpose.
A site visit was carried out to ensure we manufactured to the correct lengths for each individual space. We supplied a mixture of floor fixed benches with corresponding peg rails alongside double-sided island units placed in the centre of several changing rooms for additional seating space. These were constructed from steel frames powder coated in grey with beech slats, providing a clean and fresh finish against the crisp, white rock walls.
The coat hooks on the peg rails were positioned at 150mm centres to ensure that the majority of seated users would have their own hanging space for jackets and coats.
Despite some minor disruption with the delivery and the benches spanning over 3 separate consignments, The Simply Group met the deadline provided meaning the Main Contractor was in a position to
